Postal stamp to be issued for Sviaz 2018
The Postage Stamps Commission of the Russian Federal Agency of Communications made a decision to issue a stamp in 2018 devoted to the 30th anniversary edition of the Sviaz International Exhibition for Information and Communications Technologies. It was said in the Rossvyaz official letter addressed to Expocentre General Director Sergey Bednov.
“First day covers of the commemorative stamps on specially designed envelopes” was also reported.
Sviaz 2018 will run at Expocentre Fairgrounds on 24-27 April 2018 within the Russian Week of High Technologies.
Sviaz has run since 1975 to become a major trade show and congress in Russia and Eastern Europe in the field of telecommunications and information technologies. The exhibition features new technologies, sets a direction of the market development for a year in advance. Sviaz is also an effective platform to discuss the most relevant issues and network with professionals, suppliers and buyers.
The trade show features solutions for landline, cellular, satellite and fiber optic communications, data networks, telecommunications, server and network equipment, broadcasting systems for cable and satellite television, radio broadcasting, specialized software, solutions in the field of data security, virtualization, Internet-based technologies and services, solutions for e-commerce, plus many others.
An integral part of the Sviaz 2018 exhibition is the Big Media Communication Forum. Leading industry experts will present latest achievements of high tech companies, effective business cases and trends in information and telecommunication technologies. There will be held numerous conferences, round tables and master classes.
The Sviaz supporting program features the forum “Russian software: effective solutions” organized by of the Russian Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications. The participants will discuss development priorities of the Russian IT industry as the basis for implementation of the Digital Economy of the Russian Federation program. The forum will be accompanied by the showcase of developers of the Russian software.
Sviaz 2018 is organized by Expocentre and supported by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Federal Communications Agency (Rossvyaz), and the Russian Association for Electronic Communications. The show runs under auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
