Russian Week of High Technologies 2023
Russian Week of High Technologies 2023 will take place at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds, Moscow, Russia, from 11 through 14 April 2023. It is one of the largest series of events in Russia and the CIS, which brings together several trade shows, forums and conferences devoted to information technology, telecommunications, navigation and telematics.
Key events of the Week are the Sviaz 2023 International Exhibition for Information and Communications Technology, the Autonet International Forum of Innovative Transport Technology, the Sfera International Navigation Forum and Congress, the Navitech 2023 Display of Navigation Systems, Technologies and Services, the Sviaz 2023 Forum, and the Russian Software Forum: Effective Solutions for the Digital Economy.
Russian Week of High Technologies was included in the list of main activities of the Decade of Science and Technology and in the Designing the Future initiative, which aims to attract talented young people to research and development, promoting the involvement of researchers and developers in solving critical problems of the development of society and the country.
An extensive conference programme is devoted to such relevant issues as IT, AI in industry, import substitution in telecommunications, and the IoT.
Sviaz 2023
The centrepiece of Russian Week of High Technologies is the Sviaz 2023 international exhibition, which is the most significant ICT event of the year. The showcase will occupy Pavilion No.2. This year it will be the 35th edition of the exhibition.
Sviaz is held with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Russian State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education, Roskomnadzor – the Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media, under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and with the participation of the Competence Center of Import Substitution in the ICT Sector, the Russian Software Products Association “Russian Software”, the GLONASS Union, the GLONASS/GNSS Forum Association, and the AUTONET National Technology Initiative.
The exhibition is currently shaping up. More than 200 companies from Russia and other countries are expected to take part. The showcase will take up more than 3,000 square metres of space.
Foreign exhibitors will include Shenzhen Kstar Science and Technology Co. Ltd., Hai'an Huijue Network Communication Equipment Co., Ltd, Sichuan Bolein Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Unikit Optical Technologies Co., Ltd., AC-UNION Technology Co., Ltd, etc.
For many companies, Sviaz has become a traditional venue for meeting key partners, a platform for receiving feedback from existing clients, and a tool for attracting new target audiences.
In 2023, Sviaz will showcase new products and services of its regular exhibitors including Emilink, Angstrem-Telecom, DWDM.Ru, Eurocabel-1, Imaqliq Service, IRE-Polus, Iskrauraltel, Lentamet, Micran Research & Production Company, Microwave Electronics, MKF, Nateks, New IT Project, Protei Research and Technology Center, Radian, Radiofizika, Reko-Vek, Saranskkabel-Optica, Smarts, Supertel, T8, Teleconta, Courier Communication Central Board, Eltex Communications, etc.
There will also be 20 newcomers including IT For All, Alyans Pravo, Webinar Technologies, Innotech Group, IVCS, Impuls, Inzer, Kolmen, Agneko, Lencabel, NAG, Networks, PLC Technology, Radiosoft, Softlogic Rus, Stream Labs, Telecom Distribution, UGT-Holding, Cintera, etc.
Sviaz 2023 will have the China Pavilion, which is organised in partnership with CCPIT – the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, TEEMA – the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association, and the organiser of the user electronics Smart Device Show.
More than 70 companies from China and Taiwan will be exhibiting solutions in the fields of telecommunications equipment, telematics and navigation, geographic information systems, unmanned agricultural solutions, mini-PCs and laptops, ODN solutions for FTTx networks, data centers, industrial air conditioning, PV inverters and energy storage, cable products, smart home infrastructure, active and passive network equipment, telecommunications software, solutions and equipment for wireless networks, industrial radio communications, and cybersecurity.
Regional Business Support Centres and Export Support Centres organise participation of companies from the Arkhangelsk, Tomsk and Ulyanovsk Oblasts.
In 2023, the exhibition will also feature new companies from regions that have not participated previously: the Republics of Bashkortostan and Karelia, the Penza Oblast, and the Altai Krai.
Companies from Russia's regions – the Republics of Mordovia and Tatarstan, the Chelyabinsk, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Samara, Saratov, Sverdlovsk and Yaroslavl Oblasts, the Cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg – will be presenting their developments, technologies and services at the exhibition.
This year Pavilion No.2 (Hall 1) will accommodate several group stands. One of them is Russian Unified Communications, where software and equipment manufacturers, distributors and system integrators will showcase the best solutions and advanced Russian unified communications technologies.
The participation of Ruselectronics Holding's member companies is also becoming a tradition, and this year Television Scientific Research Institute and Concern Sozvezdie will be exhibiting their developments.
The Sviaz product sectors cover telecommunications and information technology, i.e., telecommunications equipment, solutions, services; IoT Tech; 5G; Smart City; data transmission networks; telecommunications and network infrastructure; satellite communication; radio communication; mobile communication; communication cables, equipment; data centers: equipment, software, solutions, services; power supply systems; Smart Device Show (user electronics); software, Russian software; IP technologies; AR&VR; AI; IT services; startups; electronic components for telecommunications; and jobs and careers in IT and telecom.
Sviaz 2023 also features the special Centre of Education and Science. Its participants will include Volga State University of Telecommunications and Informatics, Bonch-Bruyevich St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications, Siberian State University of Telecommunications and Informatics, National Research Nuclear University MEPHI, and Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics.
The exhibition programme of Russian Week of High Technologies includes the Navitech 2023 Display of Navigation Systems, Technologies and Services. It is dedicated to geodata solutions, transport and insurance telematics, connected and highly automated vehicles, geo- and transport information systems, intelligent urban mobility, and satellite navigation.
Exhibitors will include manufacturers and developers of special software, telematics platforms, mapping applications, leading telematics solution integrators and major end-users.
More than 20 events will be held within the conference programme of Russian Week of High Technologies and Sviaz 2023. They will cover the current issues of implementing advanced technologies at the industry enterprises, measures of state support for business, export opportunities for Russian telecommunication equipment, and import substitution policy. The events will be attended by representatives of Russian executive and legislative authorities, telecom operators, industry enterprises, researchers, and experts.
