Russian Week of High Technologies 2025

Russian Week of High Technologies 2025 was open at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds, Moscow, from 22 to 25 April 2025. It is an annual major series of events related to information technologies, telecommunications, navigation, and telematics.
The RWHT key events in 2025 included
- the 37th edition of the International Exhibition for Information and Communications Technology – Sviaz 2025
- the Display of Navigation Systems, Technologies and Services – Navitech 2025
- the International Consumer Electronics Exposition ICEE
RWHT 2025 was organised by EXPOCENTRE AO with the support of the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education, and under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The year 2025 has become a landmark for Sviaz as the show celebrated its 50-year anniversary. Over these years, it has come a long way from a hardware showcase to a strategic platform for the development of this country’s digital ecosystem.

The exhibition's product sectors covered all key areas of digitalization from telecom equipment, cybersecurity, and network infrastructure to IoT, digital ecosystems, and navigation services.
Innovative solutions for satellite navigation, transport telematics, telematics platforms and digital mapping were presented at Navtech 2025. The display attracted the attention of developers, integrators, and end users.
Mobile electronics has aroused great public interest. The International Consumer Electronics Exposition ICEE brought together more than 70 companies from China, Belarus and Russia. The exhibits included smartphones, tablets and wearable electronics with AI functions designed for the Russian market.
Sviaz 2025 introduced a Contract Expo procurement programme. On its first day, 130 contracts worth over 4 billion rubles were signed, which underlines the practical effectiveness of the platform.
Conference programme
The conference programme of Russian Week of High Technologies 2025 offered more than 35 events including:
- the Sviaz Forum and its Plenary Session on Connecting Beyond Time: Challenges and Priorities in the Age of Technological Change, whose participants discussed development of the telecom industry in the context of global changes, and implementation of AI and digital platforms,
- the Russian Software Forum: Effective Solutions, where experts spoke about accomplishments of Russian software and outlined the trends of its support and scaling of solutions,
- the Strategic Session on the Scientific and Technological Development of Russia in the Context of New Challenges dedicated to human resources, laws and priorities of the digital economy,
- the 18th International Navigation Forum,
- the 29th International Forum of the International Telecommunication Academy: Innovations for the Digital Future,
- the Conference on IoT and Business: is There a Connection?,
- a panel on cooperation between manufacturers of electronic components base and the telecom industry,
- different workshops and conferences on fiber optics, certification, and AI in telecommunications.
One of the key topics of Russian Week of High Technologies 2025 was the problem of staff shortage in the context of digitalization. Experts say that with the growing adoption of AI in industry by 2030 Russia may need up to 3 million professionals with knowledge of AI algorithms. This caused a wide response in business and industry publications and was the subject of discussion during the Strategic Session on the Scientific and Technological Development of Russia in the Context of New Challenges.

EXPOCENTRE continues its commitment of attracting students and young professionals. University delegations, startup zones and presentations of educational programmes were an integral part of the Week. Youth projects were presented at the exhibitions, discussed at different sessions, and received support from businesses and government agencies.
St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications and Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics presented their solutions. For instance, the students and professors of St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications showed their developments in the field of cybersecurity, communications and data transmission, which received a great response in the industry’s media.
Russian Week of High Technology 2025 has once again confirmed its reputation as the country's largest platform that brings together research, technology and business. It has helped strengthen technological sovereignty, conclude contracts, and integrate digital solutions into the country's economy.
