IT Spring’2009 Congress discusses key issues for the Russian IT community
IT Spring’2009, the 1st International Congress held within the Svyaz-Expocomm’2009 International Exhibition became a notable event for the Russian Internet community. It is a new project launched at Svyaz-Expocomm’2009 by Fort-Ross, a Russian marketing agency for the IT industry, and Expocentre. The project is intended to demonstrate the potential of IT technology to optimize operational efficiency of a company and reduce costs, which has particular importance in the current economic climate.
The Congress organizers chose today’s most important IT-industry topics to cover within the Open Source Forum Russia’2009 and the Mobile Communications Forum.
The annual Open Source Forum has been held in Moscow for five years and has become a widely known event. Open source-based software, its peculiarities and the economic benefits of its use remain important. And the Russian government’s attention to this issue emphasizes its significance.
