Sviaz-Expocomm’2012: a key communications event
May, 14 – 17 Expocentre Fairgrounds will host the 24th International Exhibition for Telecommunications, Control Systems, IT and Communication Services Sviaz-Expocomm’2012. The exhibition will be held within the Communications Days’2012, which bring together all the participants of the Russian information and communication technologies market.
The organizers of the exhibition are Expocentre and E.J. Krause and Associates, INC. (USA), with participation of Euroexpo Company (Russia). The exhibition is held with the official support of the Russian Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communication, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, and the Moscow City Government.
Sviaz-Expocomm’2012 is a leading exhibition of the Russian high-technology industry. Annually it gives the participants and experts a unique opportunity to analyze the trends of the world market, to demonstrate the latest developments and prospective projects, to exchange experience and know-hows, which undoubtedly gives a new impetus to the modernization of the domestic industry of telecommunications, information and mass media technologies.
The largest foreign manufacturers and leading Russian companies and enterprises participate in the most significant industry event. This year the innovative developments will be put on display by such foreign companies as Zyxel Communications Group, Intelsat Corporation, Ekinops, RPS s.p.a., Sagem Communications, Tellabs U.K. Limited, Exide, ASCOM, Rohde & Schwarz, Schroff GmbH, ProCom, Funkwerk, Group LELAS France, as well as the Russian participants, among which are Rostelecom, MegaFon, Vimpelcom, Russian Post, Gazprom Space Systems, Russian Satellite Communications Company (RSCC), Optel, DataTel, Prezident-Neva Power Center, Ò8, T-Helper Svyaz, Agilent Technologies, Svyaz Inzhiniring and many others.
The exhibition traditionally reflects the most important industry trends for the Russian economy and business, demonstrating a wide range of equipment, technologies and services.
The specialized topics of the exhibition are devoted to communication services, data processing centers, call centers; network solutions, including corporate; IT services, fiber-optic communication lines; satellite communications; broadband access, last mile facilities; modile communication, content and television; wholesale distributing facilities.
The annual industry exposition WIC’2012 (World. Information. Communications.) will be organized within the exhibition Sviaz-Expocomm’2012. The central topic of the exposition WIC’2012 is The Digital World. The leaders of the industry of telecommunications, information technologies and mass communications will introduce prospective innovative technologies and solutions, and demonstrate consumer goods and services, which form the infomedia of the modern person.
The business related programme is divided into thematic topics: Information Technologies Day (May, 14), Public Administration Day (May, 15), Mass Communications Day (May, 16), Telecommunications Day (May, 17). Within these days there will be held the Council on Mass Communications and extended session of the Russian Ministry of Communications and Mass Media; sessions of the Center of Expertise at the Regional Informatization Council and the Interdepartmental Commission on Coordination of Activity, Creation, Functioning and Development of Technoparks; Forum on information protection, the 3rd International Business Forum E-government in Russia’2012, and the All-Russian conference Strategy of Modernization of Telecommunications in the Regions of Russia.
The programme also includes the 5th All-Russian Youth Forum Information Technologies in the World of Communication, the 4th Annual Contest of Top 10 IT Projects for Public Sector, as well as the award ceremony of the Radiomania Award and etc.
The official opening ceremony of the Sviaz-Expocomm’2012 exhibition will be held May, 14 at 12.30 in Pavilion No. 2 of Expocentre Fairgrounds.
